Job Summary:
As a Chef De Partie - Butchery, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities in the butchery section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality cuts of meat, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting the Head Chef in menu planning.
Job Responsibility:- Prepare and present high-quality cuts of meat according to recipes and standards
- Ensure the butchery section is clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations
- Assist the Head Chef in creating menus and specials that feature different cuts of meat
- Train and supervise junior staff members in the butchery section
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for meat and supplies as needed
- Proven experience working as a butcher or Chef De Partie in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of different cuts of meat and proper butchery techniques
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
