Job Summary:

As a Chef De Partie - Butchery, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities in the butchery section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality cuts of meat, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting the Head Chef in menu planning.

Job Responsibility:
  • Prepare and present high-quality cuts of meat according to recipes and standards
  • Ensure the butchery section is clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations
  • Assist the Head Chef in creating menus and specials that feature different cuts of meat
  • Train and supervise junior staff members in the butchery section
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for meat and supplies as needed
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven experience working as a butcher or Chef De Partie in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of different cuts of meat and proper butchery techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
