About the Role
A Senior Public Relation Officer (PRO) manages government relations, licensing, and labor compliance (visas, approvals). Key responsibilities include handling municipality, civil defense, and MOHRE applications, while ensuring regulatory adherence.
Responsibilities- Government Liaison: Managing approvals and permit applications with key bodies like the Municipality, Civil Defense, and DED.
- Employee Documentation: Handling employee visa applications, renewals, and cancellations, including managing all types of visa services.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all construction project activities comply with local UAE labor laws and safety regulations.
- Operational Support: Assisting with company formation, license renewals, and managing document submission and tracking.
- Crisis Management: Managing stakeholder outreach and mediating public inquiries related to construction work.
- Experience: The ideal candidate must have exceptional interpersonal skills and established networks within government agencies and regulatory bodies.
- 10+ years of proven experience: as a PRO in the UAE, ideally within the construction or contracting sector.
- Language: Fluency in both written and spoken Arabic and English is highly desired.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of UAE labor law, immigration regulations, and notary procedures.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, PRO Typing skills (Tasheel/Amer), and the ability to maintain confidential documentation.
