  • This is an exciting opportunity within a Government Entity in Abu Dhabi
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business Studies, Marketing or Equivalent
  • Sales experience in public sector, cultural organizations, tourism or hospitality
  • The role holder is responsible to create leads by developing and maintaining travel trade partner relationships which contribute in generating sales necessary to achieve the set revenue and attendance targets. As the senior team member they will provide guidance to the Sales Specialists as and when needed.
  • Collaborates with the Sales team to to implement the Sales strategy to help drive the revenue and attendance targets as defined by the unit.
  • Builds and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to, B2B partners (OTA's, DMC's, tour operators, hotels, schools, corporates and travel desks) as well as point of sale (POS) locations to understand and ensure optimal service offerings.
  • Develop B2B partners sales in assigned markets through communicating trade briefs as instructed by the Sales Unit Head or Sales Manager.
  • Provides recommendations in the development of attractive offers for the different segments related to designated markets.
  • Develops, manages and contracts business to business (B2B) accounts and is responsible for specific market as assigned by the Sales Manager.
  • Provide and coordinate familiarization trips within the facility for but not limited to trading partners and B2Bs.
  • Provides weekly, quarterly and annual sales feedback and reporting on own targets to the Sales Unit Head and compares against the revenue and attendance targets, providing recommendations as required.
  • Communicates challenges to Sales Unit Head and/or Manager, including but not limited to internal processes or departments which may be impacting the flow of business and sales.
  • Responsible for managing own scheduling and administrative functions to match set target requirements and reports their agenda to the Sales Unit Head on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for the contact data associated to their allocated accounts in the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Responsible for developing and specializing in at least one market.
  • Meets the minimum required sales activities as set out by the Sales Manager and Sales Unit Head.
  • Responsible for creating and implementing the sales plan relevant to his/her specific market.
  • Provides reporting as requested.
  • Other duties as applicable to the role.
