QA / QC Lead

Job Description

Our client is looking for a QA/QC Lead (MEP) to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The QA/QC Lead is responsible for ensuring that the quality management system (QMS) is fully implemented in an organized and efficient manner. The QA/QC Lead is responsible for delegating and assigning tasks to QA/QC Engineers and working closely with related construction, fabrication, and repair departments.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Prepare Base Line Planning for the entire Project.
• Schedules, plans and oversees the entire program of work as per the BOQ.
• Set up the master plan for MEP works on various projects.
• Prepares cash flow, charts and histograms on planning projects.
• Verifies critical path and interfaces between design/ engineering/ procurement / execution.
• Monitors progress periodically and compares it with the baseline planning.
• Updates the schedule based on inputs received from project team.
• Prepares the monthly Progress reports and Labor histograms.
• Accumulates, collects and analyses data and information required for planning
• Inputs the work breakdown structure information in means to assess an accurate forecast on time, resources and cash flow of the project
• Advice the Project Director/Manager when delay events occur and produce an extension of time schedule in coordination with commercial the project team in order to support the claims.
• Determines appropriate logistics solution in managing resources
• Sets up alerts for all important contractual and milestone dates
• Conduct and participate in the progress and coordination meetings to discuss status of the project.
• Evaluate and analyze the progress through updated status reports in various formats based on the contract schedule in order to provide performance assessment and accurate forecasts.

Qualifications and experience:

• BSc. in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 8 10+ years of experience in Data Centre, High-Rise Building, Substation, and Villa Projects
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
