Role Description:

• This is a full-time on-site role for an IT Manager who will be responsible for managing and maintaining all technology infrastructure, ensuring efficient operation of restaurant-specific IT systems, such as but not limited to Point of Sale (POS), kitchen management, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems, HRMS systems and the companys various ERP systems.
• Ensures the proper installation and implementation of all IT-related infrastructure for current operating and upcoming restaurant branches.
• To enhance operational efficiency and customer experience by implementing and supporting innovative technologies.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. POS System Management:

• Oversees POS system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, ensuring accurate transaction processing, inventory management, and customer service.

1. Network and Security Management:

• Maintain secure and reliable networks across restaurant locations. Ensure data security, PCI compliance for handling credit card transactions, and protection of customer information.

1. Software and Hardware Management:

• Manage restaurant-specific software, including kitchen display systems (KDS), online ordering platforms, reservation systems, and mobile apps.
• Monitor and manage hardware such as terminals, handheld devices, printers, and digital menus.

1. Data Analytics and Reporting:

• Oversee data collection from restaurant systems to track sales, customer preferences, and inventory levels. Provide insights and reports to support business decisions.

1. Team Support and Training:

• Provide technical support and training for restaurant staff on all IT systems, ensuring quick resolution of any system-related issues.

1. Vendor and Service Provider Management:

• Manage relationships with third-party IT vendors and service providers for system updates, troubleshooting, and new technology implementations.

1. Cybersecurity:

• Ensure that all systems comply with industry regulations such as PCI-DSS and implement cybersecurity measures to protect restaurant operations and customer data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Cisco certifications) are preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in IT management in a restaurant, hospitality, or retail environment, preferably with previous experience in the UAE.
• Experience with restaurant management software, POS systems, and online ordering platforms.
• Expertise in managing POS systems and other required ERP systems (e.g., Squirrel, Sapaad, Sky Bayan, SAP)
• Proficiency in network management, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to quickly resolve technical issues in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Experience in leading IT projects, such as system upgrades, rollouts of new technologies, and restaurant expansion initiatives
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical teams and non-technical restaurant staff.
