Head of High School Section

Job Description

Elite Private School, Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Section (High School) to join our leadership team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the academic and pastoral development of the Middle School section while ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, student wellbeing, and discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the High School section with more than 700 students effectively
• Monitor academic performance and student progress
• Support and supervise teachers to ensure high-quality teaching practices
• Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
• Ensure implementation of school policies and ADEK requirements
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support student discipline, wellbeing, and personal development
• Coordinate school activities, assessments, and section initiatives
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Masters Degree in Education or relevant field (Master's Degree preferred)
• Leadership Qualification
• Minimum 7 years of teaching experience with leadership experience in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of curriculum standards and educational best practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience in UAE schools and familiarity with ADEK regulations is an advantage

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree
• Qualification in Educational Leadership is preferred.
• Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills
• Extensive knowledge in Elective courses, AP courses etc
• Proficiency in fostering collaboration and innovation among educators
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze data for improved teaching and learning outcomes
• Deep understanding of best practices in education and pedagogy
• Master's degree in Education or a related field is preferred
• Proven experience in a similar leadership role within a school environment
• Commitment to student excellence and holistic development
