The Finance Director will play a pivotal role in building the financial infrastructure from the ground up, ensuring alignment with government standards and long-term organisational goals.

Description- Develop and implement the financial strategy for the entity, aligned with its mission and long-term goals.
- Establish and oversee financial systems, controls, and reporting structures from the ground up.
- Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi government regulations and financial governance standards.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders including government bodies, auditors, and financial institutions.
- Provide strategic financial insights to the executive team and board to support decision-making.
- Oversee treasury, risk management, procurement, and financial operations.
- Support the setup and operationalisation of the entity, including financial infrastructure and staffing.
- Be part of a high-impact initiative from its inception, with the opportunity to influence strategic direction and build financial systems from scratch.
- Work closely with Abu Dhabi government stakeholders in a role that combines public service with executive-level leadership.
Requirements:
- UAE National with Family Book
- Currently operating at Director level in a finance leadership role.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated experience working with Abu Dhabi government entities or within government-regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of UAE financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.
- Experience working with large, complex organisations, preferably in the public or semi-government sector.
- Prior involvement in entity or company setup, including financial systems and operational frameworks is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
