QA/QC Lead - Offshore Oil And Gas
Job description / Role
Employment: Full Time- Required to join an international contractor working on an offshore Oil & Gas project in the UAE. The successful candidate will contributing to the establishment of a fully documented project quality system in line with the contract requirements and ISO 9001:2015 covering Field Procurement, Installation and Pre-/Commissioning.
- Supervision and coordination of the project team of discipline QC Engineers and/or QC Inspectors as appropriate.
- Development of Quality Control Procedures and Inspection & Test Plans as appropriate in conjunction with the QA Manager.
Requirements:
- An Engineering degree
- 15+ years of experience in the construction or manufacturing industry with at least 10 years’ experience in managing quality functions in oil & gas projects
- Experience relating to offshore oil& gas projects.
- Excellent knowledge of quality management systems from both design and implementation aspects.
- Quality auditor’s certification/registration
- Qualifications and certification in welding, coating and NDT are desirable
- Proven leadership skills
