Job Summary

This role involves the provision of advice, support, guidance, training, oversight and monitoring of all regulated compliance activities within the iGaming function.

Responsibilities

The Deputy Compliance Director - iGaming will report to Momentums Compliance Director iGaming and Payments. Responsibilities include:

Compliance Leadership:

• Assess compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing gaming operations.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update compliance policies and procedures accordingly.
• Act as the point of contact with regulatory authorities, ensuring timely and accurate communication and reporting.
• Develop compliance policies and procedures for gaming operations.
• Ensure policies and procedures are effectively communicated and implemented across the organization.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of compliance policies and procedures to ensure they remain current and relevant.
• Prepare for and manage internal and external audits, providing all necessary documentation and information.
• Implement audit recommendations and monitor compliance with audit findings.
• Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks related to gaming operations.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize regulatory and operational risks.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to enhance risk management practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide training and guidance on regulatory compliance to employees involved in gaming operations, promoting a culture of compliance.
• Provide ongoing support and advice to management and employees on compliance related matters.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to compliance, providing regular updates and actionable insights.
• Lead and manage the iGaming regulatory compliance team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.

• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in regulatory reporting and documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, and highly proficient in English.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance or a related role, preferably within the lottery, gaming/sportsbook, or financial services sectors.
• Ideally a degree in Business, Risk Management, Law or other relevant field.
