Job Description
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Planning Engineer specializing in Road and Infrastructure projects. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent coordination abilities, and a thorough understanding of road and infrastructure project lifecycle.
**Key Responsibilities:**- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Prepare and update progress reports, including Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to gather progress updates and ensure schedule adherence.
- Monitor project milestones, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions.
- Analyze project risks and develop mitigation plans related to scheduling.
- Review and validate contractor schedules and work sequences.
- Assist in resource planning and optimization to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Support in preparing tender programs, baseline schedules, and progress reports.
- Conduct schedule analysis and provide insights for decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in planning and scheduling for road and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other scheduling software.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, techniques, and industry standards.
- Knowledge of project management principles, contract administration, and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
