We're Hiring: Business Development Engineer – HVAC (Government & Key Accounts)
Location: UAE
Experience: 5-10+ years in Air Conditioning / HVAC

Education: Graduate (Engineering degree is an advantage)

We are looking for a highly experienced Business Development Engineer with strong HVAC expertise and established relationships across ministries, government authorities, and major project developers. The ideal candidate will drive business growth, secure approvals, and strengthen SKM's presence across the region.

Main Scope of the Role
  • Promote and secure approvals for SKM products with Ministries, Owners, Government Entities, and Project Developers
  • Coordinate with the Business Development Manager on listing and approval requirements
  • Support and drive business strategies collaboratively with Area Managers and the Business Development Manager
  • Organize presentations, workshops, and factory visits for government authorities and end users
Qualifications
  • Graduate with at least 5 years of experience in the Air Conditioning field
  • Engineering degree is an advantage
  • Minimum 10 years of overall HVAC experience
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC products
  • Established relationships with key decision‑makers in ministries
  • Good awareness of competitors products and market presence

Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities
  • Build, nurture, and expand relationships with customers, ministries, and government bodies
  • Research new markets, growth areas, trends, and partnership opportunities
  • Identify key contacts and generate new leads
  • Conduct cold calls and client meetings (in‑person or virtual)
  • Provide customers with product and technical guidance
  • Coordinate with marketing on promotional strategies
  • Stay informed on market and industry developments
  • Secure government approvals for SKM brand and product range
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold organizational standards
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
  • Monitor market trends and customer drivers; align strategies with management
  • Generate leads and identify decision‑makers within target organizations
  • Evaluate potential business opportunities and align them with company strategy
  • Develop and implement outbound sales and business development tactics
  • Establish connections with new customers and generate qualified sales leads
  • Conduct three to four customer meetings per day
