Workshop Team Lead

Job Description

Euro Mechanical is looking for a Workshop Team Lead to join our Mechanical Integrity Solutions team.

This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in workshop and site operations, who can manage assets, supervise teams, and ensure efficient, safe, and compliant workshop activities to support project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily workshop and site preparation activities across all service lines.
• Maintain and update asset registers, track utilization, and ensure optimal deployment.
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate timely repairs for all tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Oversee the collection, delivery, and documentation of assets to and from project sites.
• Monitor inventory levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables, coordinating replenishment with procurement.
• Lead and mentor workshop personnel, including supervisors, technicians, and support staff.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, teamwork, and compliance with operational standards.
• Liaise with project teams, operations, and external vendors to align workshop output with operational needs.
• Maintain documentation, maintenance logs, and KPI records for audits and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in workshop or site operations, preferably in Oil & Gas or industrial services.
• Strong knowledge of machine shop activities, on-site machining, controlled bolting, valve repair, leak sealing, and pipeline services.
• Technical proficiency with AutoCAD or equivalent software.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and planning skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team supervision abilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
