What you'll be doing
As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for all aspects of software architecture and development, from high-level to low-level design, testing, and documentation. This is a chance to make a significant impact and help shape the future of our company.
Responsibilities will include:
- Architect, design, and develop scalable, high-performance e-commerce applications, focusing on microservices and an API-first approach.
- Own the entire software development lifecycle, from system architecture and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Enforce best practices in code quality, security, and performance optimization, ensuring robust and maintainable solutions.
- Integrate modern DevOps and CI/CD methodologies, driving automation, monitoring, and cloud-native infrastructure adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, architecture, and operations, to develop innovative e-commerce solutions that drive business success.
- Bachelor's degree in computing, engineering, or mathematics
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with a strong focus on scalable web and mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Node.js/Go and React Native
- Extensive experience in building responsive, scalable e-commerce websites and mobile applications
- Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including serverless architectures.
- Experience with Salesforce stack: Commerce Cloud and Service Cloud is a plus
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for effectively working with cross-functional teams and adapting to changing requirements and priorities
- Leadership qualities, including mentorship, coaching, and guiding junior developers, and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
- Good understanding of RESTful and GraphQL API development
- Cache strategy, CDN, front-end/back-end performance tuning, third-party integration, and service integration experience
- Awareness of DevOps including continuous integration, delivery, agile configuration management, environment management, and release management practices.
