We have partnered with a multinational technology company to hire a Technical Architect. This role is pivotal in designing scalable, high-performing systems and ensuring technical excellence across enterprise-level projects. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business requirements and engineering execution, shaping the technical roadmap and guiding development teams to deliver world-class solutions.
About the role:
- Lead the design and architecture of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and architecture blueprints
- Define technical standards, best practices, and guidelines for engineering teams
- Oversee solution implementation, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and long-term strategy
- Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for adoption to improve systems and processes
- Provide mentorship and guidance to developers and technical leads
About you:
- Proven experience in a Technical Architect or Solution Architect role within large-scale technology environments
- Strong background in software engineering with hands-on expertise across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Deep understanding of system design, distributed architectures, and integration patterns
- Experience in designing secure, high-availability systems with performance optimisation in mind
- Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, presenting complex ideas clearly
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and influence development teams
