About Your Team
Reporting directly to the BIM Lead or Design Manager, you'll work closely with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors. You'll play a key role in ensuring design accuracy, coordination, and compliance across all project stages.
Your Role
As a Junior Architect, you will:
- Develop and coordinate BIM models in line with project requirements
- Produce, review, and manage detailed shop drawings and as-built drawings
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve design issues
- Review and analyze tender documents and IFC drawings to identify discrepancies
- Prepare and submit RFIs with accuracy and clarity
- Track and manage shop drawing submissions and approvals
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards and workflows (ISO 19650, BS 8666)
- Work within shared collaboration environments such as BIM 360 / ACC
- Support continuous improvement in BIM processes and project delivery
Skills and Competencies
Essential:
- Diploma in Architecture (bachelor's degree is a plus)
- 2+ years of overall experience, including at least 1 year of GCC site experience
- Basic proficiency in BIM 360 / ACC / AutoCAD / Revit / Navisworks / MS Office
- Strong understanding of BIM modelling, processes, and workflows
- Ability to review technical drawings and identify errors
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
