Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant with basic to intermediate experience in taxation and financial reporting to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, handling VAT-related tasks, and ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records and reconciliations
• Assist in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports
• Handle VAT filing support and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain transaction records
• Process invoices, payments, and journal entries accurately
• Maintain proper documentation for accounting transactions
• Assist during audits and support the finance team when required
• Support management with financial reporting and analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–2 years of experience as a General Accountant
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and tax regulations
• Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Good analytical and organizational skills
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications:

• UAE experience is preferred
• VAT Certification is an advantage
