Sourcing Manager - Emirati
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sourcing Managerto lead procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives within the utilities sector. This role is responsible for driving cost optimization, ensuring supplier performance, and aligning procurement strategies with organizational goals while maintaining compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, lead, and execute sourcing strategies for infrastructure-related goods and services to achieve long-term cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the full procurement cycle including RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and vendor onboarding.
- Lead supplier relationship management, ensuring strong partnerships that drive quality, innovation, and timely delivery.
- Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking to identify emerging suppliers, trends, and cost-reduction opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing initiatives with business objectives and project requirements.
- Establish supplier performance metrics and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior procurement and sourcing professionals.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 7-10 years of experiencein procurement and sourcing, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role within the infrastructure or construction industry.
- Proven expertise in sourcing strategies, procurement management, and contract administration.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering results under pressure.
