Tailor/Seamstress

Job Description

You will be responsible to provide an excellent and consistent level of service to your customers. To conduct duties in the assigned Place of Work and provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Villas and Hyatt International Standards Policies & Procedures in order to maximize guest satisfaction.

A hotel tailor is responsible for maintaining the hotel&aposs uniforms, guest clothing, and sometimes hotel linens through repair, alteration, and occasionally, creation. They ensure a high standard of presentation for both staff and guests, managing inventory, and keeping the tailoring area clean and organized

• Ideally with a relevant diploma or professional certification in Hospitality or Tourism management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in hotel operations.
• Good customer service, communications and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Proficiency in various sewing techniques, including machine and hand sewing.
• Knowledge of pattern making is helpful for creating or modifying garments.
• Fabric Knowledge: Understanding different fabrics and their properties is essential.
