The key objectives for this role are:
- Develop efficient and sustainable infrastructure and systems tailored to operational needs and site-specific challenges
- Ensure that all designs adhere to local and international safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Plan technical solutions that maximize resource utilization while minimizing production costs
- Incorporate the latest technologies and digital tools to enhance performance and reduce risks
Responsibilities
Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Preparation of all types of instrumentation design drawings and deliverables such as Block Flow Diagrams, PFDs, P&IDs, line list, valve list etc. based on client standards/practices
- Produce instrumentation drawings as per client standards using AutoCAD, MicroStation, SmartPlant P&ID, AVEVA P&ID, etc.
- Carry out assigned instrumentation design work as part of a multi-discipline project team
- Develop instrumentation drawings based on inputs provided by lead designers and engineers
- Provide discipline-specific design and drafting services that meet the project's, and applicable statutory and regulatory, requirements
- Provide technical support to the site team during design, engineering, and construction
- Assist in the coordination of all activities related to the discipline

Expected:
- Diploma in Instrumentation and Control Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in an engineering organization as process designer
- Proficient with computer-aided design and drafting software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, AVEVA P&ID, SmartPlant P&ID)
- Previous onshore oil and gas related process design experience
- Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
