Purpose

The purpose of this role is to perform routine and non-routine tasks during maintenance inputs of A, C, and unscheduled maintenance inputs as directed by the Licensed Engineer, Hangar Supervisor, or the Production Controller.

• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on ABY and third-party aircraft during maintenance inputs to the standards required by both ABY and current legislation.
• Ensure full understanding of the tasks allocated and competence to perform them.
• Strictly adhere to all pertinent safety precautions as published in manufacturer manuals and other publications.
• Keep the Licensed Engineer and Hangar Supervisor fully informed of any impending service disruptions or problems.
• Ensure all work meets the standards required by ABY and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure replacement parts and components are installed professionally, with all required blanking of ports and covering of exposed areas meeting a high standard of quality.
• Physically check and inspect components prior to fitment to aircraft or component, ensuring compliance with the AMM, IPC, or other approved documentation.
• Handle, label, and blank removed components correctly.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Complete all associated documentation prior to the end of the shift.
• Report any maintenance error immediately to immediate supervision.
• Fully comply with any maintenance error review board.
• Work effectively under harsh conditions and shift work while maintaining human factors awareness.

• Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance.
• Minimum two yearsu2019 experience in aircraft maintenance fields.
• Good English communication skills.
• Age between 23 and 45 years.
• A proactive and interactive attitude with the flexibility required for working within a small organization.
• Physically fit with the ability to travel regularly and at short notice.
