Site Engineer Irrigation & Landscape MEP
Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Site Engineer to oversee the installation and execution of irrigation, landscaping, electrical, and MEP works on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating site activities, supervising subcontractors and labor teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and supporting the timely and successful delivery of projects while maintaining quality, safety, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate irrigation, landscaping, electrical, and MEP site activities to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Provide technical guidance and support to subcontractors, supervisors, and site teams during project execution
Carry out site setting out, leveling, and surveys to verify dimensions, quantities, and construction accuracy
Monitor installation works and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and approved methodologies
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, quantity surveyors, planners, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
Review drawings and contract documents and identify any discrepancies or technical issues
Monitor labor productivity, subcontractor performance, and resource utilization on site
Coordinate material requirements and ensure the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and plant to support project schedules
Organize site resources and activities to achieve project milestones and deadlines
Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements
Monitor quality control activities and ensure all works are completed in accordance with project specifications
Resolve technical issues and site challenges in coordination with the Project Manager and MEP Manager
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain accurate site records
Attend project meetings and provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and resource requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in irrigation, landscaping, electrical, or MEP projects.
Experience working on landscape development, irrigation systems, and outdoor infrastructure projects is preferred.
Familiarity with project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and construction methodologies
Skills & Competencies:
Strong technical knowledge of irrigation and landscape MEP systems.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
Good planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project reporting tools.
Ability to work independently in a site-based environment.
