The Director of Contracts and Procurement Management is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's business operations related to contracts and procurement. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the acquisition of materials and services necessary for the company with the best quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.The director plays a strategic role in identifying needs and developing effective plans.
Duties And Responsibilities- Develop and implement the company's contracts and procurement strategy, ensuring objectives are met and maintaining required levels of quality and efficiency.
- Analyze the company's needs for goods and services and develop and execute procurement plans to meet those needs.
- Manage contracts and agreements with suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with required standards of quality, efficiency, and cost.
- Negotiate contract terms, prices, and payments with suppliers, ensuring their adherence to agreed conditions and deadlines.
- Manage risks related to contracts and procurement and take necessary actions to mitigate them.
- Work on implementing the company's strategy and achieving set goals in coordination with the Strategy Department and other departments.
- Continuously review the supplier base and assess their performance and ability to meet company requirements.
- In coordination with relevant departments, monitor supplier performance and ensure the delivery of materials and services as per contracts and specifications.
- Prepare reports and analyses related to contracts and procurement and provide senior management with the necessary information for strategic decision-making.
- Manage, guide, and develop the team's capabilities.
- Perform any tasks assigned by the Director of Support Services.
- Leadership, communication, and coordination skills with various departments within the company.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to handle numbers and information accurately and logically.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage relationships with suppliers and business partners.
- Decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
- Time management and planning skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills in both Arabic and English.
