Health & Beauty distributor of well known, widely available brands, is seeking a Social Media & Community Manager and Brand Manager
Job brief:
We are looking for a qualified Social Media Manager to join our team. If you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media, PR and promotional events, we would like to meet you.
The social media manager will be responsible to look for opportunities to increase brand exposure for their assigned brands across social channels. They are responsible for responding to comments and creating content.
As a social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging content. You should be a people person with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community.
You should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement. Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications.
Responsibilities
Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
Setting specific objectives and reporting on ROI
Provide new and review already available engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts
Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
Establish communication and relationships with influencers, industry specialists (make-up artist, dermatologist etc) and journalists
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily/weekly
Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
Oversee social media accounts design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Stay up-to-date with digital technology trend
Requirements and skills
Proven work experience as a social media/community manager
Experience in launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events)
Hands on experience with social media management for brands
Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Knowledge of online marketing channels
Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
