Job Description

Our client, a global consulting firm, is looking for a Senior Consultant, Cybersecurity in Dubai.

• Providing subject matter expertise, advice, and guidance on security matters relating to the secure configuration and operation of cybersecurity systems and assessments
• Prepare cyber and privacy assessments of current as well as planned projects based on research, and analysis
• Evaluate the Information Security and Compliance related performance of companies, and develop plans for improvement as well as expense reduction
• Oversight on Vulnerability Management managing outputs from internal tooling and external vendors in order to prioritise remediation by relevant internal parties in order to ensure the identified risks are mitigated
• Project management and delivery experience across the following Cyber Security areas: frameworks (e.g. NIST CSF, CPMI-IOSCO, ISO, Profile - Financial Services sector-specific distillation of the NIST CSF, etc.), assessments, implementation, roadmap definition (tactical and strategic), strategy, risk identification and management, controls framework, programme management and target operating modelling
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure correct and common understanding of TPRM, provide advice and review technical designs
• Provide mentorship and leadership to more junior members of the Team, fostering an inclusive, supportive and engaged learning environment.
• Ability to articulate and pitch Cyber Security advice both at a technical and non-technical level, directly to key customer stakeholders and the ability to work on multiple projects and tasks concurrently, successfully balancing business and client priorities.

• +3 years of experience in technology or security consulting or an IT security environment, serving as an IT Security Analysis (ITSA), Security Architect/Engineer, Cybersecurity technician, Cloud Security Specialist, Information Security Specialists or Data security Analyst
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field; or equivalent experience
• A strong understanding of cloud security concepts and technologies
• Understanding of the CI/CD process and security integrations
• Experience with Cloud Security, emerging technology risk assessments, and cross-industry experience.
• Audit experience (eg ISO 9001/27001) is desirable
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
