Finance Manager

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly MIS, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts. Provide analysis on profitability by product, customer, or department (medical vs. pharma vs. cosmetics).
• Treasury & Working Capital Management: Oversee daily cash flow, manage banking relationships in the UAE, and handle complex Import/Export documentation such as Letters of Credit (LCs) and trust receipts for supply chain partners.
• Compliance & Tax Strategy: Ensure compliance with local UAE laws, including VAT returns, and corporate tax regulations. Manage internal and external audits.
• Receivables/Credit Control: Partner with sales teams to minimize overdue receivables and enforce credit control policies for distributors, clinics, and pharmacies.
• Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor operating expenses and cost of goods sold (COGS) to optimize margins.
• Operational Support & Inventory: Oversee inventory valuation, monitor supplier payments (AP), and ensure accurate recording of stock, including shelf-life management considerations

• Certification: Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, CPA, or CMA is usually mandatory.
• Experience: A minimum of 8–10 years of experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role in the UAE.
• Industry Background: Prior experience in pharmaceutical, medical equipment, or FMCG distribution is highly preferred.
• System Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, alongside advanced MS Excel skills
