Finance Intern [Emiratized role]

Job Description

Job Purpose

The Finance Intern supports day-to-day financial operationsassisting with accounting, analysis, and reporting taskswhile gaining hands-on exposure to corporate finance practices.

• Accounts Support Enter vendor invoices, post journal entries, match POs, and help prepare payment runs.
• Reconciliations Assist in monthly bank, cash, and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Reporting & Analysis Compile data for management reports, variance analyses, and KPI dashboards.
• Budget Assistance Help gather departmental budgets and compare actuals vs. forecast.
• Audit Prep Organise vouchers, confirmations, and schedules for internal or external audits.
• Process Improvement Document workflow steps and suggest efficiency enhancements.
• Ad-hoc Projects Support treasury, payroll, or tax projects as assigned by the Finance Manager.

• Practical experience with ERP/ accounting systems -Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Understanding of the full procure-to-pay and record-to-report cycles.
• Exposure to financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance requirements.
• Development of Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic modelling).

• Fresh Graduate in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• Must be a UAE National with valid Family book
• Ability to handle confidential data responsibly.
• Eagerness to learn, with a proactive and team-oriented attitude.

• Office-based; standard working hours with occasional deadlines.
