Senior Accountant

Industry: HVAC Trading

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 5–6 years of UAE experience, strong hands-on exposure to SAP and ERP systems, and thorough knowledge of VAT regulations, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes.

The role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining proper financial documentation, and ensuring compliance with UAE VAT laws and financial regulations. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical abilities, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounting functions efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, general ledger postings, and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in the reconciliation of all bank and loan accounts with bank statements and financial records to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Work extensively on SAP and ERP systems for financial data management, reporting, and accounting processes.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including VAT calculations, filing, documentation, and maintaining proper records.
• Assist in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including monitoring outstanding payments and coordinating with relevant departments.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation required for internal and external audits.
• Assist during internal and external audit processes by providing necessary financial records, reports, and clarifications.
