Legal Counsel

Job Description

Location: Dubai

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to oversee all legal matters related to real estate transactions, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. The role will support senior leadership by providing strategic legal advice across development projects, acquisitions, sales, leasing, and corporate structuring.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal advice on real estate transactions, land acquisitions, sales, and leasing in compliance with local laws.

Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies, including land departments and RERA.

Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts such as development agreements, joint ventures, leases, and financing documents.

Identify and mitigate legal risks related to development projects and corporate transactions.

Manage litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution with external counsel as required.

Ensure compliance with local corporate laws, shareholder agreements, and governance frameworks.

Collaborate closely with senior management, investors, and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

1215 years of legal experience, preferably within the local real estate sector.

Strong knowledge of local real estate laws, RERA regulations, and property transactions.

Expertise in corporate structuring, M&A, and contract negotiation.

Experience working with real estate developers, reputed law firms, or multinational organizations.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
