Job purpose:

The Security Analyst will support the day-to-day operations of endpoint security and vulnerability management solutions across the organization. The role is ideal for Emirati graduates or early-career professionals, providing hands-on exposure to enterprise security tools while working closely with senior IT and Information Security teams to improve security posture and support audit and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical & Operational Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily operation and monitoring of endpoint security solutions, including:
  • Antivirus (AV)
  • Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)
  • Assist in vulnerability management activities, including:
  • Reviewing vulnerability scan results
  • Tracking remediation progress with IT and application teams
  • Verifying closure of findings after remediation
  • Support third‑party patching and endpoint updates to ensure:
  • Compliance with internal security standards
  • Reduction of known vulnerabilities
  • Monitor health and coverage of security agents across endpoints and report gaps to senior team members
  • Assist in responding to basic security alerts, escalations, and service tickets under supervision
  • Perform routine checks to ensure systems are aligned with baseline security configurations
  • Update tickets and documentation accurately within the IT service management system

Audit & Coordination Responsibilities:

  • Support internal and external audits by:
  • Collecting technical evidence
  • Updating audit trackers
  • Coordinating with multiple IT teams to close audit observations
  • Work closely with the Information Security team to:
  • Understand audit findings and security requirements
  • Track and follow up on remediation actions
  • Act as a coordination point between IT operations and security teams to ensure timely closure of audit and compliance points
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to security controls, patching status, and vulnerability remediation

Qualifications & Technical Skills

Bachelor's degree in an IT related field
  1. 2 years experience in the relevant role, especially in the IT system and security domain

Basic understanding of:

  • Endpoint security (Antivirus, EDR concepts)
  • Vulnerability management and patching concepts

Exposure to Microsoft technologies is an advantage:

  • Microsoft 365
  • Intune
  • Microsoft Defender (AV / EDR)

Basic knowledge of:

  • Windows OS
  • Networking fundamentals (DNS, LAN/Wi‑Fi)
