Job Title:Senior Strategic Sourcing Buyer

Role Purpose

Responsible for developing and delivering the procurement strategy and fulfilling day-to-day sourcing requirements for internal customers and respective programs, as assigned.

Responsible for establishing and delivering category based sourcing strategies, in order to mitigate risks, reduce costs, and support program sourcing.

• Conduct on-going comprehensive analysis to identify internal program purchasing trends and volume forecasts, alongside extensive market analysis to ensure that parts and materials are purchased at the most competitive price, meet delivery and quality targets, are in line with budget and ensure that continuity of supply chain is met.
• Participate in the resolution of sourcing-related commercial and technical issues, involving internal customers and suppliers as appropriate.
• Conduct effective and proactive liaison with internal customers and other departments, seeking to maintain excellent relationships and acting as a single point of contact for program sourcing.
• Identify risks and lead the implementation of risk management strategies for area of responsibility and ensure the creation, maintenance and management of a program risk register.
