WSP are currently looking to hire a Stakeholder Engineer, to be based in Abu Dhabi.
As a Stakeholder Engineer, you will be responsible for managing relationships with stakeholders involved in transport and infrastructure projects. Your role will focus on ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and alignment among various parties involved in the project, thereby contributing to successful project delivery.
Your new role, what's involved- Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government entities, local authorities, community representatives, and project partners.
- Communication Facilitation: Act as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals, requirements, and progress.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on local regulations, policies, and standards related to transport and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi, ensuring project activities align with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts or issues that arise between stakeholders and project teams, finding mutually beneficial resolutions to maintain project momentum and positive relationships.
- Public Engagement: Organize and facilitate public consultations, meetings, and workshops to gather feedback, address concerns, and build community support for infrastructure projects.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports, documentation, and presentations related to stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to project management and stakeholders.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a stakeholder role within the context of transport and infrastructure projects.
- Abu Dhabi experience is essential in this role.
- Strong understanding of local regulations, policies, and stakeholders involved in the development and implementation of transport and infrastructure projects.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and effectively manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
