Controls Technician (BMS/Electrical)

Job Description

Salary: AED 3,000 4,000pm

Job Summary

The Controls Technician is responsible for installing, testing, calibrating, operating, and repairing control panels and related hardware. This includes physical assembly, wiring, and testing, as well as supervising wiring of components, installing control panels on equipment, and ensuring proper operation in line with company policies and procedures.

• Apply knowledge of IEC and NEMA electrical panel standards.
• Read and troubleshoot electrical and automation panel drawings.
• Perform point-to-point wiring for relays, controls, PLCs, I/O modules, VFDs, interfaces, and instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot panels to resolve wiring errors and component issues.
• Maintain and communicate red-line drawing markups for fabrication changes.
• Present and interpret technical information clearly in both spoken and written form.
• Maintain high work standards and ensure quality results under tight deadlines.
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, engineers, and the Production Manager.

• ITI, Certificate course, or Diploma in Electrical (or equivalent).
• 35 years of work experience.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD for reading and modifying electrical drawings preferred.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.

• Gulf experience.
• Available to join immediately or within one month.

• Punctuality and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

• Follow all occupational health and safety guidelines.
• Report any potential risks or hazards to the HSE representative.
