Mechanical Inspector

WSA Engineering Consultancy LLC is seeking Mechanical Inspectors – Site Supervision with extensive experience in construction projects, particularly in mass villa developments.
- Inspection and Supervision:
- Monitor the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems to ensure quality and functionality.
- Verify that materials and equipment used in construction meet project requirements and safety standards.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, defects, or non-compliance issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all mechanical installations adhere to local codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, including records of tests, commissioning activities, and certifications.
- Assist in preparing punch lists and ensure all mechanical systems are completed and operational before project handover.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve on-site issues related to mechanical systems.
- Participate in coordination meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to site teams and contractors.
- Testing and Commissioning:
- Oversee the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems to confirm performance and functionality.
- Witness and verify pressure tests, airflow tests, and other system performance checks.
- Document test results and ensure systems meet operational and design specifications.
- Safety Oversight:
- Ensure all mechanical installations and related activities comply with health and safety protocols.
- Report any safety violations or hazards to the Site Manager or Safety Officer.
- Promote safe work practices on-site, particularly in mechanical work areas.
