Associate Principal - Application Operations (Digital)

Job Description
The Principal – Application Operations (Digital) is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of all critical digital platforms. This role oversees end-to-end operational health across mobile, web, APIs, CRM, and ERP systems, acting as a production gatekeeper while driving continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure end-to-end availability, stability, and performance of digital applications.
- Drive proactive monitoring across application, infrastructure, database, and network layers.
- Lead incident management and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Act as the production gatekeeper for deployments and releases.
- Own Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and execute regular DR testing.
- Provide performance reporting and stakeholder communication.
- Manage vendors and ensure SLA adherence.
- Drive audit remediation and compliance controls.
- Lead innovation through automation, AIOps, and RPA initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in application operations, support, or engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure), databases, networking, and enterprise systems.
- Experience supporting mobile, web, API, CRM, and ERP applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage critical incidents under pressure
- Excellent stakeholder communication
- Strong ownership and leadership mindset
