Job Description
Role: Head of Collections ( UAE Nationals )
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage corporate collections operations across subsidiaries and business units.
- Monitor outstanding receivables, aging reports, collection performance, and recovery activities.
- Develop and implement collection strategies, policies, and escalation procedures to improve cash flow and reduce overdue accounts.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify collection trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare executive dashboards, analytical reports, and PowerPoint presentations for top management and leadership committees.
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Operations teams to resolve payment disputes and accelerate collections.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, audit requirements, and corporate governance standards.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate collections teams while driving operational efficiency and performance improvement.
- Support digital transformation initiatives, reporting automation, and KPI tracking within the collections function.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Collections, Credit Control, or Financial Operations, with leadership experience in corporate or group subsidiaries environments.
Professional certifications preferred such as:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
Preferred Background
-Experience within large corporate groups, transportation, mobility, logistics, or semi-government organizations is highly preferred.- Proven success in improving collection cycles, reducing DSO, and strengthening financial controls.
