Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and assess the condition of tyres on all company vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment.
- Rotate, change, and repair tyres as needed to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Keep accurate records of tyre inventory, including purchases, replacements, and repairs.
- Monitor tyre wear and recommend replacements when necessary.
- Maintain and organize tyre storage area.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations when handling and repairing tyres.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient maintenance of company vehicles.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tyre Man in a transportation or logistics company.
- Knowledge of different types of tyres and their specific maintenance requirements.
- Familiarity with tyre repair tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
