Urgent hiring (Peak Season/Short-term Contract): Automotive Mechanic for Heavy-duty Vehicles - Emirates

Job Description

This role support EGAs Mobile Fleet Maintenance team by performing mechanical or electrical maintenance of heavy-duty vehicles (e.g., trucks, loaders, buses) within a garage-based setup, ensuring operational safety and reliability.

Duration: 3 months contract with possibility of extension

Package: Under 3rd Party: Basic + OT pay, free accommodation & transportation, insurance & work visa

Auto Mechanic:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy automobiles inside a garage (not field-based).
• Diagnose mechanical problems and replace faulty parts (engine, brakes, suspension, etc.).
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to inspect heavy vehicles.
• Maintain service records, and follow safety and maintenance standards.

Auto Electrician:

• Inspect and repair electrical systems in heavy-duty vehicles.
• Install and maintain wiring, lighting systems, alternators, starters, and battery components.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.

Qualifications:

• Mandatory: Experience in heavy automotive maintenance in a garage/workshop setting.
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems in heavy vehicles (e.g., buses, trucks, construction equipment).
• Basic English communication skills.
• Must be currently in the UAE and available to join immediately.
• Willing to work on a short-term contract
• Physically fit and able to handle workshop tools and heavy components.
