About the Job:
Deliver investor-grade ESG reporting and disclosures for ADNOC L&S, govern ESG data and systems, and support improvement in ESG ratings and stakeholder confidence. Maintain alignment with internationally recognised sustainability standards including GRI, ISSB, ESRS/EFRAG, SASB, and widely used climate-related frameworks.Lead engagement with major ESG ratings agencies including MSCI, Sustainalytics, S&P Global CSA, and Moody's, ensuring disclosures reflect both current and emerging sustainability priorities.
Key Accountabilities- Maintain durable ESG reporting aligned to global standards and climate-related frameworks, without binding to clause-level specifications.
- Coordinate ratings processes for MSCI, Sustainalytics, S&P Global CSA, Moody's, including evidence packs and improvement plans.
- Support maritime-sector disclosures such as Poseidon Principles and Sea Cargo Charter submissions.
- Govern ESG data quality, validation, traceability, documentation, and assurance-readiness.
- Serve as focal point for ESG systems (dashboards, emissions/ETS-type tools, data platforms) and coordinate enhancements.
- Co-lead Sustainability Report governance sections and KPI tables alongside the Sustainability Specialist.
- Integrate disclosures on emerging domains such as circularity, water, supply chain responsibility, digital enablers, and marine/biodiversity.
Minimum Requirtments:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability or related discipline
- Master's preferred.
- 6-10 years in ESG reporting/governance with ratings or assurance exposure.
- Proficiency with major ESG standards (GRI, ISSB, ESRS/EFRAG, SASB; climate-related frameworks).
- Experience managing ESG ratings (MSCI, Sustainalytics, S&P Global CSA, Moody's).
- Data governance and controls (quality, validation, traceability, audit-readiness).
- Tools/systems familiarity (dashboards, emissions/ETS-type platforms, data warehouses).
- Strong stakeholder communication and investor-grade writing.
- Ability to coordinate Poseidon Principles and Sea Cargo Charter submissions (as applicable).
- Maritime/industrial context awareness.
- Certifications or structured training in ESG reporting (e.g., GRI Certification, IFRS/ISSB Fundamentals,
- ESRS/EFRAG practitioner-level training, SASB FSA Credential) are desirable.
