About the Job

Fuse is looking for a highly confident and experienced Senior Account Director to join the team in Dubai and lead the development and activation of sports and entertainment partnerships for clients across the MENA region. You'll be expected to act as a trusted advisor to our clients, providing strategic guidance on sport and entertainment partnerships.

You will be accountable for the successful management and delivery of client work, while also helping identify opportunities to grow Fuse's presence in the region through new partnerships, expanded scopes of work, and new business opportunities.

A typical day will include

You will be responsible for senior stakeholder management with clients, interpreting client briefs and mobilizing internal teams, leading the activation of partnership assets and managing relationships with rightsholders, partners and agencies across sport and entertainment properties.

Main day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Support new business development, including contributing to pitch responses, identifying partnership opportunities, and helping grow Fuse's client portfolio in the region
  • A genuine passion for sport, entertainment, and culture, with an understanding of how brands connect with audiences through partnerships
  • Lead POC for clients, rightsholders, agencies & suppliers – with senior leadership oversight
  • Build and maintain close relationships with senior clients and rightsholders
  • Strategic consultation for clients, including building & delivering the overarching strategic approach to partnership activation, in line with wider brand and sponsorship strategy
  • Delivery of existing and upcoming client campaigns, with a focus on effective brand impact
  • Regular reporting to key clients/ stakeholders
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Understanding of the MENA sports and entertainment landscape, with existing relationships across rightsholders, brands, or key industry stakeholders in the region. Experience in developing and leading strategic responses for clients, including presenting responses with confidence and conviction
  • Proven experience in managing sports and entertainment partnerships, including working with rightsholders, agencies, and brand stakeholders to maximize the value of sponsorship investments
  • Proven experience agency growing revenue or account-specific
  • Fluent understanding of both the sponsorship and sport landscape, including how partnerships and brand experiences work within the broader marketing mix
  • Experience of building activations from the ground-up and integrating campaigns around them
  • Experience managing people/teams and the ability to facilitate career growth in others
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and cross-agency partners
  • Articulate and confident to lead senior-level client meetings and presentations
  • Ability to troubleshoot and work at a pace
  • Excellent project management and attention to detail, able to own projects from start to finish, including managing a team and delegating appropriately
