We are currently recruiting a Sales Executive - General Trading & HORECA for our client, based out of their office in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Job Purpose:
Experienced and results-driven Sales Executive with a strong Food & Beverage trading background to drive growth and market penetration across the UAE and GCC regions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the HORECA segment, be capable of sourcing innovative products from global markets, and possess an established network of industry contacts to facilitate sales, import, and distribution within the region.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and source innovative F&B products from international markets for UAE import and distribution.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from product sourcing and pricing to client negotiation and after-sales support.
- Develop and grow key accounts across the HORECA segment (hotels, restaurants, catering) and retail/trading sectors.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across the UAE and GCC to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Liaise with logistics, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless delivery and execution of sales deals.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings to enhance visibility and market reputation.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and performance reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum 46 years of experience in F&B sales and trading, with proven exposure to both HORECA and general trade within the UAE.
- Strong understanding of import regulations, logistics, pricing, and compliance within the UAE and GCC.
- Established network of clients in the UAE and wider GCC region.
- Proven track record of identifying and bringing in new product lines successfully.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
- UAE driving license is mandatory.
