Leadership Development Manager - UAE National
The Manager - Leadership Development is responsible for supporting Dubai Health’s mission and vision by designing and implementing leadership development programs that foster the growth and development of leaders at all levels within the entity.
Key Responsibilities:-
Strategic Alignment & Planning- Develop and execute a leadership development strategy aligned with the mission, vision, and long-term goals.
- Partner with senior leadership and HR to identify current and future leadership needs and strengthen the talent pipeline.
- Collaborate with the Institute of Learning (IOL) and executive leaders to align leadership development with broader organizational objectives.
- Build and maintain strong strategic alliances with internal stakeholders and external partners to support leadership development efforts.
- Ensure leadership programs are integrated into Dubai Health’s wider talent management and policy frameworks.
- Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive leadership programs across various leadership levels—from emerging leaders to senior executives.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development priorities.
- Develop and deliver innovative learning solutions including workshops, seminars, e-learning, and blended learning methods.
- Manage mentorship and coaching programs to foster ongoing leadership growth.
- Evaluate program effectiveness using data, feedback, and best practice benchmarks.
- Continuously refine leadership development initiatives based on insights and strategic direction.
- Teach, assess, and supervise projects within leadership development academic programs at IOL.
- Participate in research and contribute to leadership development, publications, and wide talent initiatives.
- Will be interacting internally with the Stakeholders and External agents.
- Organizational learning teams, incl. Flex Campus, Learning and Development, IOL teams, including Health Professions Education, Digital Learning Lab etc., Subject matter experts in leadership across the entity, Heads of departments, and Employees.
Requirements:
- Minimum - A master’s degree in leadership, healthcare leadership, adult education, curriculum design or equivalent.
- Certification in project management or equivalent, Mentoring/Coaching qualification.
- Overall Experience - 7+ years of experience in the context of education or healthcare.
- Specific role experience - 3+ years of experience leading teams in higher education and/or healthcare context.
- Prefer candidates who have experience in both academic and learning and development functions.
