About the Role
We are looking for a Travel Retail Sales Key Account Specialist to drive sales, manage relationships, and grow our travel retail and duty-free accounts across Dubai and the GCC region. This role is responsible for developing strategic account plans, managing key partnerships with duty-free operators, and ensuring strong brand visibility in premium travel retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
Key Account & Sales Management:
- Manage and grow key accounts across airports, duty-free shops, airlines, and travel retail partners.
- Negotiate trade terms, product listings, promotional plans, and contracts with travel retail buyers.
- Develop and execute sales plans and revenue targets for each account.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with airport retailers, travel retail operators, and distributors.
Travel Retail Sales Execution:
- Ensure high-level execution of sales and promotional strategies tailored to duty-free environments.
- Monitor sell-out performance, stock levels, and order replenishment.
- Conduct regular store visits to review merchandising, display standards, and in-store promotions.
- Provide training to retail staff to enhance product knowledge and brand advocacy.
Trade Marketing & Activations:
- Work with trade marketing teams to design and implement impactful travel retail activations, events, and sampling campaigns.
- Oversee POS materials, planograms, and display installations to ensure premium brand representation.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on seasonal campaigns, gifting concepts, and launch events.
Forecasting & Reporting:
- Prepare sales forecasts, business reviews, and performance reports for key accounts.
- Analyze sales data, customer trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with supply chain and logistics to ensure smooth operations and timely stock deliveries.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 35 years of experience in travel retail, key account management, or FMCG sales (duty-free experience preferred).
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of travel retail dynamics, pricing structures, and promotions.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Fluent in English (Arabic or other languages is a plus).
- Flexible to travel across GCC airports when required.
- Work with a premium, fast-growing brand in one of the most exciting retail sectors.
- Take ownership of key travel retail accounts and drive their growth.
- Exposure to international customers and global travel retail trends.
