Job Overview:
The Warehouse Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe storage, distribution, and compliance of pharmaceutical products within the warehouse. This includes overseeing the release of newly received shipments, managing controlled substances, and maintaining operational standards in line with regulatory requirements.The role requires ensuring the proper documentation and handling of medicines, including cold chain management, as well as supporting the site manager in day-to-day warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with federal, governmental, health authorities, and partners regulatory and quality requirements, maintaining accurate documentation.
- Oversee the release of newly received shipments by the Ministry of Health (MOH) inspector twice a week.
- Handle the clearance of controlled and narcotic medicines from UAE ports, adhering to MOHAP regulations.
- Manage the processes related to product recall, market price changes, and safety field notifications.
- Ensure effective operational control by adhering to divisional SOPs, GSDP, and QMS requirements.
- Be responsible for the storage, distribution, and cold chain management of medical and pharmaceutical products, in line with GSP, GDP, and WHO guidelines.
- Maintain records of controlled substances and ensure reports are submitted to MOHAP/DOH on a monthly basis, or as needed.
- Assist the site manager in managing daily warehouse operations, including the disposal of damaged or expired products.
- Supervise, guide, and train colleagues on product handling, legal compliance, and quality standards.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a warehouse Pharmacist in a pharmaceutical warehouse or pharmaceutical distribution setting.
- Pharmacist with Valid MOH/DOH/DHA licensed.
- Experience managing cold chain and controlled drugs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and train staff as necessary.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
