• Assist in preparing and submitting accurate financial reports in accordance with the requirements of the UAE Insurance Authority, Central Bank of UAE, and other regulatory bodies.
• Support the month-end closing process by accurately recording revenues, claims, expenses, and accruals in a timely manner.
• Ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations; investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Assist in the review and analysis of balance sheet accounts and profit & loss statements, identifying unusual trends and suggesting corrective measures.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors; prepare audit schedules and contribute to the development and maintenance of strong internal control procedures.
• Collaborate with departments such as actuarial, claims, underwriting, and IT to maintain accuracy and consistency in financial data and reporting.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Mandatory)
• CA qualification (Mandatory)

Experience:

48 years of experience in finance, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong foundation in management reporting, monthly financial closing, and financial planning
• Working knowledge of IFRS 17 and UAE insurance regulatory frameworks (Preferred, not mandatory)
• Proficiency in English both written and spoken
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams
