As a Junior QA/QC Engineer, you will support the execution and delivery of high-quality construction work by managing inspection workflows, assisting with snagging processes, and ensuring full compliance with specifications and standards. Your Role

As Junior QA/QC Engineer, you will:

• Conduct daily site inspections to identify, log, and escalate quality issues
• Perform electronic work and material inspections with subcontractors and consultants
• Maintain accurate QA/QC data records and categorize inspection comments for analysis
• Coordinate with third-party labs for testing and ensure proper test documentation
• Track subcontractor compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
• Assist in implementing and verifying corrective/preventive actions for NCRs
• Participate in snagging and de-snagging activities using digital tools
• Work with the Fire & Life Safety (FLS) team to ensure compliance with authority requirements
• Support weekly/monthly reporting on QA/QC deliverables for assigned packages
• Embrace ALECs digital QA/QC workflows and contribute to quality dashboard updates
• Maintain daily site diaries and documentation on internal systems
• Proactively report any inspection comments that may lead to unnecessary rework

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent
• 13 years experience in QA/QC roles on construction sites, ideally with exposure to luxury or complex developments
• Familiarity with QA/QC digital platforms such as Aconex, BIM 360, or PM Web
• Understanding of construction standards, sequencing, and inspection protocols
• Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills
• A proactive, positive attitude with a keen interest in continuous improvement
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced project environment
