Reed Recruitment Middle East is currently looking for Manager -Finance Operations for Dubai Location.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Manager Finance Operations to lead the finance function for a leading Real Estate company in the UAE. The role involves managing end-to-end finance operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, General Ledger, Audit, Taxation, and Compliance.

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with prior Big 4 experience and a strong background in the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Leadership
  • Lead and manage a team of 1012 accountants across AR, AP, Treasury, and GL.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to strengthen financial governance.
  • Oversee cash flow management and treasury operations to optimize liquidity.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Supervise end-to-end AP and AR cycles ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage vendor payments, reconciliations, and contract terms.
  • Monitor receivables, follow up on collections, and ensure credit risk is managed effectively.
General Ledger & Reporting
  • Oversee GL accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
  • Provide management with insightful analysis on financial performance and variance reporting.
Audit, Taxation & Compliance
  • Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of statutory audits.
  • Manage VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory compliance requirements in the UAE.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations impacting real estate operations.
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Monitor budget performance and highlight variances with corrective actions.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Process Improvements
  • Identify and implement automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Establish best practices for financial reporting, compliance, and controls.
Key Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 810 years of finance experience, including at least 35 years in a managerial role.
  • Big 4 background with strong technical expertise in audit, reporting, and compliance.
  • Proven experience in the real estate sector in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and Corporate Tax regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Yardi or similar).
