Job Description
The Representative, Business Development is responsible for identifying and crafting new qualified opportunities for the wider sales team. You&aposll be identifying key decision makers whilst adopting a creative outreach to qualify prospects and successfully position Checkout.coms value proposition.
What Youll Be Doing- Identify & generate new business opportunities from the most promising prospects and partners in MENA
- Pitch our next-generation payment solutions and value-added services to eCommerce and Fintech companies
- Prepare high-quality presentations and proposals for C-suite stakeholders at prospective clients, and implement winning negotiation strategies
- Become the expert on Checkout.coms technology stack, help new merchants understand the value of Checkout.com to solve their pain points, and handle detailed questions about our product capabilities.
- Orchestrate the entire lead generation process, drive urgency and act as the main point of contact for prospects and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a solid, well-organized portfolio and nurture key accounts by having a deep understanding of their industry, pain points, and needs.
- Partner with Sales team members to share best practices, key business insights and industry trends.
- Attend local in person events
- Provide feedback on local trends including competitor insights, customer needs, sales, product and marketing information.
- At least 2 years fintech B2B sales experience, ideally in the Payments industry
- Track record of high performance
- Highly motivated and committed to growth and development
- Curious and able to learn new things
- Tech-savvy, with a passion for Fintech and Payments
- Strong commercial acumen, ability to effectively negotiate complex structures
- Coachable and collaborative, a true team player
- Highly organized and able to prioritize shifting workloads and responsibilities effectively
- Exceptional communication in English and Arabic (Mandatory)
