Job Description
Role Summary
The Stocker is responsible for managing all documentation related to goods receiving and ensuring that proper procedures are followed for all products entering the store. This includes verifying delivered items against packing slips, checking product quality and integrity, and monitoring product temperatures when required.The role also involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the receiving area, including the loading dock and waste disposal areas.
ROLE PROFILE- Inspect the condition of vehicles and containers used for transporting raw materials to ensure they meet approved hygiene and safety standards.
- Verify that all incoming raw materials are delivered in clean, dry, undamaged, and pest-free vehicles or containers, and that temperature requirements are maintained within approved limits.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA/QHA) to inspect raw materials and confirm compliance with company specifications before acceptance.
- Segregate and label any damaged, contaminated, or non-conforming items, and coordinate with the Storekeeper and Purchasing Manager for rejection or return to the supplier.
- Ensure all required documentation, including Phytosanitary Certificates and Certificates of Analysis, is received prior to accepting deliveries.
- Unload and tag approved materials, then arrange them in the appropriate storage locations in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the receiving and storage areas while adhering to company policies on punctuality and personal hygiene.
- Support Human Capital initiatives by identifying training needs, delivering on-the-job training, contributing to manpower planning, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Food Technology, or Business Administration.
- 6 to 12 months of experience in receiving, warehousing, or inventory control within a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Proven knowledge of warehouse operations and a solid understanding of food manufacturing standards and handling procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is an added advantage.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong process discipline and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
