Project Manager- Medical Equipment Maintenance

Job Description

1. Oversee service performance , technical cost, and profitability of operations Develop work schedules for biomedical Engineers and make adjustments as needed to accommodate changing workloads.
2. Evaluate staff productivity, efficiency, and other specific work quality performance indices.
3. Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives. Initiate studies and surveys, prepare reports recommendations and implementation of solutions to administrative and technical problems.
4. Perform staff performance evaluation and make decisions regarding merit increases or promotions.
5. Initiate disciplinary actions and counsel employees as and when required.
6. Responsible to provide safe working environment for the staff
7. Ensure all resources are available to staff members as needed to allow them to perform maintenance and repair of medical equipment and system as assigned
8. Oversee customer satisfaction and problem solutions
9. Oversee requests for on-site repairs and PPM services by contract vendors and technicians and documentation of services performed
10. Serve as a consultant on company-wide/ customer projects and acts in the capacity of project leader or facilitator
11. Responsible for the management of concession agreements contracts as well as biomedical service contracts with external vendors.
12. Responsible for implementing regulatory standards, developing and implementing procedures applicable to all technical areas of services.
13. Monitor monthly expenditures and work with management staff in recommending how best to control equipment service related costs without compromising on services interruptions

Qualification and Experience Required:

1. BS Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Business Administration major in Management.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the area of healthcare and engineering project management.
3. Leadership Skills: strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability execute and supervise healthcare projects.
