Job Description

The purpose of this role is to contribute to the improving Quality, Health, Safety and Environment performance and Corporate Responsibility in assigned areas. Support the business by applying in-depth knowledge to offer solutions and advice through delivery of performance improvement programs and/ audit program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and monitor QHSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance ET regulations and international standards.
  • Ensure the implementation of the QHSE Management System and standard in the Country Quality Management ISO 9001 ISO 22000, Environmental Management ISO 14001 EMAS, Occupational safety management OHSAS 18001 ISO 45001, monitor and coordinate document review with departments.
  • Participate in external QHSE or related audits according to the regional audit plan.
  • Meet at regular intervals with QHSE Managers of key customers to exchange information relating to QHSE management systems and to share ideas and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks within operations and recommending corrective actions.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to operational staff on QHSE matters, including safety protocols and environmental stewardship.
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures to mitigate future risks.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory authorities and third-party auditors, to ensure alignment and compliance with QHSE requirements.
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives and promoting environmental awareness among ET employees and drivers.
  • Develop and deliver QHSE training programs to enhance awareness and competency across the organization.
  • Support Products regarding continuous improvement initiatives using tools like Lean Six Sigma, or others.
  • Analyze Health and Safety data and implement programs to improve the Health and Safety performance.
  • Guide in regard to the requirements of identifying and implementing local Laws, and monitor that compliance has been carried out.
  • Delivering and deploying Occupational Health and Safety, auditing, and performance improvement programs

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in QHSE roles, preferably within the transportation or logistics sector.
  • Knowledge of QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices, with familiarity in Dubai&aposs regulatory environment being advantageous.
  • Experience in sustainability practices and Environmental, Social, and Health (ESH) principles is preferred but not mandatory.
  • NEBOSH, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certificate.
